Ryan Grainger is an experienced engineer with a history of working in research and development, robotics engineering, project management, and teaching. In 2018, they began working as a Research and Development Engineer at Cellular Technology Limited (CTL). From 2016 to 2018, they were a Robotics Engineer at RoboTerra, Inc., where they developed product prototypes and PCB layouts. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Project Manager at The ASK Academy, where they ran a learning space for Engineering & Design and Robotics. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Grader for the Mechanical Engineering Department and a Teaching Assistant at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Lab Assistant and Grader for the Department of Management at the same institute. Ryan was also a Teacher/Instructor at BUILD Robotics in 2011 and helped design and maintain the website for the Mechanical Engineering Department at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. In 2007, they began working as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at RoboRAVE International, a program of Inquiry Facilitators, Inc., where they managed the public website and backend web application and developed a registration and scoring system.

Ryan Grainger obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 2011. Ryan then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Specialty in Mechatronics from the same institution, which they completed in 2014.
