Daniel McTague

Chief Technology Officer at Cellusys

Daniel McTague began their work experience at Cellusys in 2008 as a Software Engineer Intern. Daniel then worked as a Software Engineer from November 2009 to December 2011, developing telecommunications applications using Java and Spring.

In December 2011, they were promoted to Senior SS7 Software Engineer, where they gained experience in all stages of development, including requirements gathering and analysis, product design and installation, and actual development efforts. Daniel also developed a deep understanding of SS7 and SIGTRAN.

In January 2014, Daniel became a Technical Architect, where they were responsible for planning and designing products, as well as working directly with customers and leading a development team.

Most recently, they have held the role of Chief Technology Officer since December 2017, leading the development of core products and conducting extensive research to ensure Cellusys products remain at the forefront of the telecoms industry.

Daniel McTague attended Dublin City University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Applications.
