Bryan Tarantina has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Bryan is currently working as the Director of Software Development at NDSL since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at IBM for 8 years as a Back-End Developer, where they played a key role in designing and implementing the backend pipeline and data warehouse for the TradeLens project. Bryan also led a team of developers and contributed to the success of the project. Before IBM, Bryan worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Orbis Technologies, Inc. where they led the Cloud Text Analytics (CTA) product team and improved existing Natural Language Processing (NLP) extraction algorithms. Bryan also developed a streaming ingestion pipeline and enhanced semantic-based graph analytics. Additionally, they have experience as a Lead Software Developer at CACI International Inc, Sr. Systems Engineer at Pragmatics, Inc., and Systems Engineer at SAIC. Earlier in their career, Bryan worked as a Technology Specialist at Ohio University and as a Technology Consultant at Dakota Systems, Inc.
Bryan Tarantina holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Ohio University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained two certifications. In June 2007, they completed a certification in Oracle Application Development through Learning Tree International. Furthermore, in June 2011, they obtained a certification in ExtJS 4. The institution that provided the ExtJS 4 certification is not specified.
