Brian Battey

Brian has 30+ years of experience and leadership in public and private healthcare technology organizations where his mission has been on improving patient outcomes. At Cellworks, he is Chief Operating Officer focused on all aspects of commercial growth of the company.

Prior to joining Cellworks as COO, Brian served in many senior executive roles in a variety of organizations including Verdi Oncology, a private equity funded practice management company; Thrive Earlier Detection, a liquid biopsy multi-cancer early detection company; Raintree Oncology Services, a national community oncology alliance and Aetna, managed health care company.

His achievements include scaling a unique, member-owned national network of top oncology practices to improve patient outcomes, lower costs, and increase practice revenues that was acquired by Cardinal Health. He also developed one of the first Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) with Hospital/Primary Care Joint Venture.

Brian has broad experience in both Pharmaceutical and Specialty Distribution with AmerisourceBergen, McKesson and Cardinal Health. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
