Ran Liu has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 as a Summer Analyst at HSBC. In 2012, they were a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and Preceptor at Franklin & Marshall College, as well as doing Research on Poverty and Child Gender Bias at The World Bank. In 2013, they became an Algo Trader at Eastern Shore Currency, LLC. In 2015, they were a Senior Strategist at Decision Economics, Inc. In 2016, they founded AICIMA. In 2018, they became a Founding Partner at Escondido Partners. In 2020, they were a Co-Founder & Board Director at CellX. Most recently, in 2021, they founded a Stealth Startup.

Ran Liu obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Mathematics and Economics from Franklin & Marshall College in 2013. Ran then went on to pursue an MBA at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which they completed in 2020. Additionally, they have a certification as a Registered Investment Advisor from FINRA.
