William Coppola

William Coppola is an accomplished intellectual property professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University School of Law, Coppola teaches a course on "Patent Law in the Life Sciences." In the role of Executive Director of Intellectual Property at Celularity Inc., responsibilities include the global prosecution of the patent portfolio and advising on various intellectual property matters. Previous positions encompass Vice President of Intellectual Property at Aerie Pharmaceuticals, as well as roles at Sanofi, where Coppola managed patent litigation, conducted due diligence evaluations, and drafted and negotiated various intellectual property agreements. William Coppola holds a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Delaware, and a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of South Florida College of Arts and Sciences.
