Rubens Freitas

Rubens Freitas began their work experience in 2000 at Vertigo Tecnologia, where they served as an IT Manager for over two decades until June 2022. In July 2022, they joined CELUS as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, and continues to work in that role.

Rubens Freitas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal Fluminense from 1999 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they hold several certifications. In 2005, they became a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java Platform 1.4 from Oracle. Rubens has also obtained the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in March 2021. Moreover, Rubens obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021. In September 2021, they achieved the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. Rubens also obtained the Terraform Enterprise Implementation Foundations certification from HashiCorp in January 2022. Finally, they have planned to obtain the AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2023.
