Drew Cesta

Drew Cesta is a Senior Research Scientist at CEM Corporation, specializing in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry with a focus on enhancing automated synthesis and drug discovery. Drew completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant working on total synthesis and biological evaluation of β-lactam antibiotics. Prior to that, Drew was a Research Assistant at both The University of Kansas and Elmhurst College, where they engaged in pharmaceutical chemistry and synthetic chemistry research, respectively.
