Ronny Andersson has worked in various roles since 1982. From 1982 to 1987 they were a Project Leader at CBI Betonginstitutet. In 1987 they became the Head Research and Innovation at Cementa AB. In 1984 and 1985 they were a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley and the US Army Corps of Engineers respectively. Since 2003 they have been a Visiting Professor at Lund University. Ronny's research areas include Processes and ICT, Industrialization, Knowledge and Information Management, Sustainable Building, Pavements and foundations, Concrete and Cementitious Materials. Ronny has supervised six research assignments and has initiated four international conferences and workshops. Ronny has also written several papers on the topics of their research and was interviewed in Swedish Radio's Science program about industrialised processes in 2014. Ronny is also the Chairman of the Swedish Strategic Program "Smart Built Environment".
Ronny Andersson attended The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a M.Sc. in Civil Engineering. Ronny then attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology until 1987, where they earned a Lic. in Engineering.
