Cemento Polpaico SA is a Chile-based company principally engaged in the cement industry. The Company's activities include primarily the production and distribution of Pozzolanic cement, as well as Portland and gravel and sand aimed at the production of ready-mix concrete. It operates three production plants located in the regions of Bio Bio, Antofagasta and the Santiago Metropolitan. The Company's product portfolio comprises Cemento Polpaico Especial, Cemento Polpaico 400, Cemento Polpaico Ari and Cemento Polpaico Portland. The Company is a parent of Grupo Polpaico, a group which comprises such a number of controlled entities as Sociedad Petreos SA, Plantas Polpaico del Pacifico Ltda, Compania Minera Polpaico Ltda and Polpaico Inversiones Ltda, and Holchile SA was the Company's majority shareholder with 54.3% of its interest.
