Beata Lysiak

Beata Lysiak is a CCUS Specialist at Cemex since March 2021, focusing on sustainable practices and initiatives for CO2 capture and storage to achieve net-zero emissions. Previously, as a Quality Specialist, Beata developed innovative cement formulations that led to a 40% reduction in CO2 emissions and led projects geared towards CO2 reduction through mineralization. Earlier experience includes a role as a Quality Analyst managing mineralization projects and synthesizing novel binders, and as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician at Pietrucha Group, where Beata focused on quality control and process improvements. Beata holds a Master of Science in Chemistry of Building Materials from Lodz University of Technology and multiple engineering degrees in the same field from various universities.
