Ian Phillips has over 20 years of experience in the aggregates and asphalt industry, currently serving as Aggregates Technical Manager at CEMEX since September 2010, after holding the role of Assistant Quarry Manager. Prior to joining CEMEX, Ian worked at RMC/CEMEX from December 2002 to August 2010 as an Aggregates and Asphalt Technician. Education includes a Certificate in Quarry Studies and a Diploma in Asphalt Technology from the University of Derby, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wrexham University. Ian completed secondary education at Queens Park High School.
