John Heffernan has over twenty years of experience in the building materials industry, having held various leadership roles at CEMEX, LafargeHolcim, and Grupo Inconhsa. Currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development for Cement at CEMEX, they manage capital budgeting and M&A activities across US operations. Previously, they designed bridges for the Michigan Department of Transportation and contributed to significant projects and initiatives in finance, strategy, and logistics throughout their career. Heffernan holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Business School and dual Master's degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan and Michigan State University.
