Marcela Solis

Marcela Solis has over 15 years of experience in various financial and payroll roles at CEMEX, currently serving as the Hire to Retire Leader for the Americas Region and previously as Payroll Services Leader. Marcela has a proven record in process stabilization, implementation of fiscal regulations, and enhancing payroll practices. As the National Financial Manager for the Cement and Aggregates Business, responsibilities included supervising the credit portfolio, decision-making support for executive leadership, and strategic reduction of account receivables. Marcela has also coordinated cash application processes and led teams to foster best practices. Earlier in the career, Marcela held positions in financial reporting and accounting at Grupo REFORMA. Academic credentials include an M.B.A. from EGADE Business School and specialized programs at Yale School of Management and Babson College.
