Marcelo Catala

Marcelo Catala is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the construction and consulting industries. Since February 2006, Marcelo has held various leadership positions at CEMEX, currently serving as EMEA VP - Urbanization Solutions, while also fulfilling roles as Chairman of CEMEX Latam Holdings' Audit Committee and CEGYS. Previous positions at CEMEX include VP of Related Businesses, Marketing, Digital Innovation & Customer Experience, and President of CEMEX France and CEMEX Polska. Prior to CEMEX, Marcelo worked at The Boston Consulting Group as a Project Leader and Associate/Consultant, and gained experience in the finance sector at J.P. Morgan as an Investment Banking Associate. Marcelo's educational background includes an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Responsible Boards Governance program from IESE Business School, and degrees in Business, Law, and Political Sciences from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
