Robin Simons

Robin Simons is an experienced Environmental Manager currently employed at CEMEX since January 2022, with a prior position at Ash Grove Cement Company. Simons has built a robust career with extensive expertise in monitoring and reporting on drinking water and surface/groundwater, air permitting requirements, and compliance reporting. Responsibilities include ensuring timely notifications of chemical spills and overseeing remediation efforts, as well as developing waste disposal procedures for very small quantity generators (VSQG). Prior to the roles at CEMEX, Simons worked for CEMEX USA in a similar capacity and held the position of Environmental Health Safety Specialist at Mosaic Fertilizer LLC, where involvement in environmental compliance audits and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements were crucial.
