James Black

James Black is an experienced IT leader with a robust background in enterprise architecture, product ownership, and strategic program management. Currently serving as the Director and Enterprise Architect for Patient Services at AmerisourceBergen, James leads the Architecture team in developing solution designs that enhance the lives of patients through innovative pharmaceutical services. Previous roles include Director of Integration, Automation, and Data Products at Lash Group, where responsibilities involved defining IT strategies and architecting data integration frameworks, and Product Owner for Data & Analytics at Benefit Harbor Insurance Services, focused on data development and analytics for a global insurance provider. James has also held senior positions at Prime Management as President and CIO, managing a portfolio of clients, and at Swiss Re, where a significant strategy was created that generated $200 million in business value. James holds a Computer Science degree from the University of Waterloo.
