Benjamin Senson

Benjamin Senson serves as the Planetarium Director at Madison Metropolitan School District and has been an Instructor of Physics and Astronomy at Madison Area Technical College since August 2017. In addition to these roles, Benjamin holds the position of Affiliate Partner for Wisconsin FIRST LEGO League and serves as President of BadgerBOTS Robotics Corporation, both of which focus on providing STEM educational opportunities to youth in Wisconsin. As an established author, Benjamin has written the textbook "Aerospace Engineering: From the Ground Up" and has contributed as an Aerospace Engineering Master Teacher for Project Lead The Way, where training is provided for educators. With a teaching career that began in 1991 at Vel Phillips Memorial High School, Benjamin has extensive experience teaching astronomy, physics, and aerospace engineering. Benjamin holds a Master's degree in Physics and Astronomy Education from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
