Joe Friedl, Jr., CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and finance spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Director of Global Accounting & Reporting at Cengage Group since January 1998, Joe has successfully led significant initiatives such as multi-function F&A outsourcing to Cognizant Technologies, achieving over $1M in savings, and implementing advanced accounts payable solutions. Joe's prior roles at Cengage Group included Manager in various capacities where contributions included due diligence during the company's spin-off, reporting development for expense analysis, and enhancing vendor refund processes. Previous experience includes positions at RHI Management Resources, Waldman, Pitcher & Co., CPA, and Deloitte, where Joe managed auditing services and accounting compliance. Joe holds both a BS and BA in Accountancy from Thomas More University.
