Paula Dohnal

Paula Dohnal has extensive experience in educational content development and teaching, currently serving as a Senior Learning Designer at Cengage since August 2010. Prior roles at Cengage include Senior Content Developer, Senior Content Lead, and Project Editor. In addition to contributions at Cengage, Paula taught English 090: Basic Composition as an Adjunct Instructor at Quincy College in 2013 and held the position of Production Editor at ICMA from 2008 to 2010. Earlier career milestones include serving as Director of Journals and Managing Editor at Heldref Publications, as well as Managing Editor for The Journal of Sex Research. Paula began the professional journey as a Reporting Intern at the Wisconsin State Journal and later taught Life Sciences Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from Northwestern University, a Master of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master of Education in Instructional Design from UMass Boston.
