Roger Smith

Roger Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Roger currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at Sentro Limited since March 2019. Before that, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at Bricklane Brewing Company starting from July 2017. In 2016, they held the position of Chairman and Co-founder at Centrality.ai and also served as an Advisory Board Shareholder at Fingermark. Prior to that, they were the Country Manager and Managing Director at epay New Zealand Limited, starting from February 2010. In the same year, they also became the Country Manager at epay, a Euronet Worldwide Company, where they were responsible for building a strong team in New Zealand and had regional sales director responsibilities for Australia. Additionally, they have extensive experience working at Independent Distillers as the General Manager and Global Sales Director, where they took the business from 1 million NP to 90 million NP in 2005. Roger also created popular RTD brands during their time there. Roger started their professional journey at Independent Liquor NZ as the National Sales Manager in November 1994, where they served until July 2000.

Roger Smith attended Napier Boys High School from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained their University Entrance degree in Accounting and Business/Management. Following this, they attended the University of Canterbury from 1987 to 1989 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Later, in 1990 to 1991, Roger attended Hawkes Bay EIT and pursued Business Management and Marketing, although the specific degree name is not mentioned.
