Mihails Scepanskis

Co-Founder & CEO at CENOS

Mihails Scepanskis is the co-founder and CEO of CENOS. Mihails was previously a senior researcher at the University of Latvia, where they led the research project to investigate the root cause of White-etching cracks (WEC) in wind-turbine bearings (funded by Schaeffler). Mihails also designed and managed the first ever experiment to visualize solid particles in liquid metal flows by means of neutron radiography (at Swiss Neutron Source, Paul Scherrer Institute). Mihails has authored 25 peer-reviewed papers and has an h-index of 9.

Mihails Scepanskis has a Doctor of Physics degree from Latvijas Universitate, a Mini-MBA in Innovation and Leadership from Riga Business School, and a Specialist (Dipl.) degree in Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).
