Wesley Newcomb

Wesley Newcomb has had a varied work experience. In 2020, they began working at Censinet as a Senior Software Engineer, and later as a Software Engineer. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at CarNow as a Senior Software Engineer and a Junior Software Engineer. In 2017, they were a Jr. Full-Stack Developer at Launch Academy, Inc., where they learned skills such as Git workflow, pair programming, and test-driven development. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Transparent Language as a QA Tester, testing software for issues according to test plans and testing web apps for accessibility against WCAG and Section 508 Compliance standards. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Gordon College Physical Plant as a Paint Crew Leader, where their responsibilities included coordinating the other members, delegating work, and reporting their status back to their boss.

Wesley Newcomb obtained a Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in Music Performance (voice) from Gordon College in 2013. In addition, they have obtained two certifications from Coursera, Data Structures in February 2019 and Algorithmic Toolbox in December 2018.
