Joseph Barsness

Joseph Barsness has a diverse work experience. Joseph currently works as a Software Engineer II at Censys, where they build platforms and implemented an improved API gateway caching layer. Prior to that, they were a Technical Writing Intern at HBO Max, where they authored API docs and created an automated developer onboarding framework. Joseph also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Censys, where they developed services and contributed to the product's internal documentation wiki. Joseph has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University. In addition, Joseph was a Biomedical Ethics Research Intern at Mayo Clinic, where they proposed the use of natural language processing for analyzing medical society position statements and conducted literature reviews for various research teams. Joseph has published a peer-reviewed study and has experience using Python and G Suite.
