Laurel MacMillan

Laurel MacMillan is an experienced statistician specializing in complex analytical projects in national security and public health. Currently serving as the Analytics and Operations Lead at Centaur Labs, Laurel focuses on improving the speed and accuracy of critical labeling processes for AI and healthcare applications. Previously, Laurel worked at Gryphon Scientific, where they led the development of models for radiation injury and infectious diseases, as well as methods for estimating clinical symptoms for vector-borne diseases. In addition, Laurel has held various roles at institutions including NASA Langley Research Center, Virginia Tech, and Deloitte, and is actively involved with iConquerMS as a Research Committee Member. Laurel is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics at the University of Virginia and a Master of Science in Statistics at American University.
