Jeff Stephens

Jeff Stephens has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Jeff started their career at ACS A Xerox Company, where they worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer and Coordinator, and later advanced to become a Programmer/Analyst. In these roles, Jeff developed databases, constructed applications, and created tools to enhance testing processes. Jeff also collaborated with business analysts and directed QA analysts to ensure optimal testing practices and methodologies.

Following their time at ACS A Xerox Company, Jeff joined Healthspring as a Data Quality Analyst II and later as a Sr Systems Developer. In these positions, they designed and implemented data quality assurance practices, standardized testing scripts, and collaborated with DBAs to upgrade SQL servers and migrate data structures.

Jeff then moved on to Healthstream, where they served as an Advanced Software Solutions Developer. Here, they performed impact and gap assessments, optimized legacy data extracts, and collaborated with developers to design standard data extracts.

At Cigna-HealthSpring, Jeff worked as a Systems Analyst, providing technical expertise and creating user stories and development tasks based on business requirements. Jeff also reviewed queries for viability and coordinated with architects to answer technical questions.

Following their time at Cigna-HealthSpring, Jeff joined TEKsystems as a Senior ETL Developer. In this role, they designed and developed storage solutions, conducted data conversion processes, and collaborated with stakeholders to design data-marts and reports.

Most recently, Jeff has been working at Centauri Health Solutions, Inc as a Senior SQL Developer. In this role, they have been the primary architect for a data intake automation project, managing an offshore team and providing support for code management and peer review.

Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated strong technical skills in areas such as SQL, ETL, data quality assurance, automation, and server management. Jeff has also showcased their ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and lead teams effectively.

Jeff Stephens attended The University of Alabama from 1996 to 1998. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in Computer Science.
