Mathieu Raad is an experienced entrepreneur and medical professional with a focus on health development and infectious diseases. Currently serving as an acceleration entrepreneur at Centech Mtl since February 2022 and as the founder of Smartbiotic, initiated in April 2021, Mathieu addresses the global challenge posed by antibiotic resistance. Previous roles include independent consultant for MRHS from September 2015 to December 2021, where Mathieu contributed to health projects and supported clinicians in antibiotic prescription practices. Mathieu's medical background includes volunteering as a medical student at Ruijin Hospital and Hopital St Vincent in 2014. Educational achievements include multiple diplomas in echocardiography, anesthesia, neuro-resuscitation, and infectious diseases from various institutions, culminating in medicine studies completed at the Faculty of Medicine of Lyon.
