Alan Smith has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as Vice President at Centene Corporation since February 2003, where responsibilities include interim Chief Medical Officer and oversight of Medical Affairs for Integrated WellCare/Centene/Staywell/Sunshine FL Plans. Previously, Alan Smith held various roles at WellCare Health Plans, including Chief Medical Officer for WellCare of Florida and Staywell, where strategic direction was provided for clinical programs in multiple facets of Medicaid and Medicare.
