Alex Goebel

Alex Goebel, MBA, CISA, is the Director of Internal Audit at Centene Corporation, where they lead a 50-person team and drive governance and operational improvements. They previously held the position of Director of IT Internal Audit at Hospira, managing significant risk assessments and enhancing data analytics capabilities within the department. Alex initiated their career as a Captain in the US Air Force, overseeing IT programs and team leadership, and later gained experience as a manager at Protiviti, focusing on client engagement and project management. They earned an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
