Eric Schmacker

Eric Schmacker is the President and CEO of Silver Summit Health Plan at Centene Corporation, where they have held the position since 2019. With over 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare delivery and strategy development, Eric's previous roles include Vice President of Health Care Operations at Brooke Army Medical Center and Chief of Strategy at the Army Medical Department Center & School. They earned a Doctorate in Health Services Research, Management and Policy from the University of Florida and have held academic positions, including Assistant Professor at Baylor University. Eric is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
