Haleta Belai is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health equity and social determinants of health, currently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Health Equity & Drivers of Health at Centene Corporation since July 2014. Belai’s career at Centene has evolved through several leadership roles, including Staff Vice President and Senior Director positions in Social Determinants of Health Innovation. Earlier experience includes an MBA internship focused on implementing Affordable Care Act strategies, and prior roles at Achievement First and the Vulnerable Ethiopian Women's Empowerment Program, where Belai co-founded an initiative for the empowerment of female commercial sex workers. Belai holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia University and an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business.
