Howard Cohen

Howard Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Howard began their career at Blue Cross of California, where they held the position of Director and managed a team of project managers, business analysts, and programmers. Howard then joined Anthem, Inc., where they served as VP of IT in various roles, including VP of IT PMO and Quality Office, VP of IT - Mergers and Acquisitions, and VP of IT - Corporate Applications. At Anthem, they led several strategic projects and programs, including the Sarbanes Oxley IT compliance program and the merger between Wellpoint Health Networks and Anthem Inc. Following their time at Anthem, Howard worked as a self-employed IT executive in healthcare and as a chief endurance athletic coach. Howard'srole involved coaching and training endurance athletes and holding leadership positions in various organizations. Howard later joined Health Net as Director of Program Management, where they managed a group of program managers and implemented IT program management frameworks. Howard also worked at Centene Corporation as a Senior Director of Information Technology, where they established program and project management frameworks and led the transformation of recently merged companies to common project management methodologies. Howard then joined Virtusa as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, supporting a large healthcare payor in the development of productivity tools. Howard is currently working at Centene Corporation as the Director of IT - Advanced Technology Team, leading a team that develops innovative solutions to improve the health of the members and providers they serve.

Howard Cohen studied at California State University, Northridge from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business.
