Joel Silberberg

Joel Silberberg is a board-certified psychiatrist and forensic psychiatrist currently serving as the Behavioral Health Medical Director at Centene Corporation since 2018. They previously held prominent roles such as Chief of the Division of Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Florida and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Northwestern University, where they founded the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Training Program. Joel has been involved in private forensic psychiatry practice since 1987 and has also been a professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, focusing on teaching and supervising medical residents and students. They earned an M.D. in Medicine from the University of the Witwatersrand, completing their degree in 1978.
