Maria Salas

Maria Salas, MHA, CPCO, CPB, CDP®, is the Director of Health Equity at Sunflower Health Plan, where they focus on addressing health disparities and advancing health equity while driving company growth. Maria has previously held various roles at Centene Corporation, including Director of Health Equity, where they developed program activities targeting Social Determinants of Health, and Manager of Provider Relations, enhancing relationships within healthcare networks. Prior to that, they served as Program Supervisor for the Unified Government of Kansas City, where they oversaw preventive care services and worked to improve health outcomes for a primarily Medicaid population. Maria is currently pursuing a degree at Park University.
