Sammy Samuels is a seasoned database professional with a robust background in database engineering and administration. Currently serving as a Lead Database Engineer at Centene Corporation since January 2017, Sammy specializes in automation processes using PowerShell and Ansible for SQL Server and Windows patching, along with credential management through CyberArk Vault. Previously, as a Lead Database Administrator at Health Net, Sammy collaborated on government projects for the Department of Defense and Veteran Affairs, ensuring proper access controls across various environments. With earlier roles at RBS and O2 (Telefónica UK), Sammy has developed extensive experience in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and capacity planning. Sammy holds a Master's degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from the University of Oxford.
