Tonia James

Tonia James is an experienced clinical leader with a strong background in mental health and case management. As the Clinical Director at Centene Corporation since March 2014, Tonia oversees the statewide physical and behavioral health case management team for Medicaid Managed Care in Florida. Previously, Tonia held significant roles at Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, where responsibilities included managing quality improvement and risk management for a large staff serving thousands of individuals, and at Northeast Florida State Hospital, where Tonia enhanced living conditions for residents and managed various operational functions. Tonia's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
