Jonathan Hack

Dean, Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Services at Centennial College

Jonathan Hack is currently the Dean of Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Services at Centennial College. Prior to this, they served as the Past President of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers from May 2013 to May 2020. In this role, they provided input to the Board of Directors as an ex-officio non-voting member of the Board and was also a member of the OSPE Executive Committee. From January 2010 to December 2019, Jonathan was the Strategic Technology (R&D), Intellectual Property (IP) Lead, and University and Government Relations Lead at Bombardier Aerospace. In this role, they worked with federal and provincial governments, sector associations and academia to expand innovation and identify sector development barriers for aerospace in Ontario. Jonathan also managed Bombardier Aerospace's strategic engineering project portfolio (R&D) for Ontario and provided support for other strategic research activities. Additionally, Jonathan led Bombardier R&D activities related to cabin interiors technology development.

Their manager is Craig Stephenson, President & CEO. They are on a team with Charmaine Hack - VP, Strategic Enrollment Management, Niccardo Rhoden - Director, Student Systems, Records & Scheduling, and Amy Morrell - AVP, Institutional Effectiveness.
