Michael Simons

Michael Simons has extensive experience in academic leadership and instruction, currently serving as the Chair of Liberal Arts, Pre-Health, Leadership and Inclusion & Specialized Academic Certificates at Centennial College since April 1986. Additional roles at Centennial include Acting Associate Dean and Professor, focusing on courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Abnormal Psychology. From January 2012 to April 2019, Michael acted as Course Director at the University of Toronto, specializing in Administrative Theory and Organizational Behaviour. Previously, from January 1994 to April 2019, Michael held the position of Course Director at York University, teaching subjects like Introduction into Sport Administration and Organization Behaviour for Fitness & Sport. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from York University, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Sport and Fitness Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Counselling from Boston University.
