The Center for Healthy Development (CHD) is a non-profit and independent technical organization with global outreach and partnerships.  Its main office is in Seattle, Washington USA. 

Our mission is to energize the healthy and inclusive development of countries, families and individuals, including children and youth with fragile beginnings globally.

Our passion is to create a better world through improving health conditions, preventing poverty due to ill health and ensuring dignified care and inclusion for all, especially the most vulnerable.

We do so through policy translation and through providing support and advice to global and national leaders and communities on:
-Actionable policy, strategy, and program advice, with a sharp focus on feasible solutions following evidence-based diagnostics. Solutions are the how-to that must follow the what-to-do determined by diagnostics and policies for leaders to achieve impact.
-Capacity building to ensure long term sustainability and continuous improvement of systems and teams performance and capabilities, including hands-on education and training.
