David Cassert

David Cassert is a seasoned procurement and acquisition professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Procurement and Acquisition at the Center for Internet Security since December 2023, David previously held the position of North American Procurement Director at Sumitomo Bakelite North America, Inc. from February 2022 to December 2023. Prior to that, David spent several years at USA Sealing, Inc., first as Senior Director and then as Director, where responsibilities included overseeing procurement operations, leading complex contract negotiations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. David's career also includes a role as Supervisory Contracting Officer at the US General Services Administration, managing contract specialists and overseeing comprehensive contracting processes. David holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, both from Niagara University.
