David Stemerman

David has over two decades of experience building investment businesses, managing portfolios, and analyzing stocks. Prior to CenterBook Partners, he founded and was Portfolio Manager/Managing Member of Conatus Capital, a multi-billion-dollar global long/short equity fund manager. David was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Lone Pine Capital, an analyst at Ulysses Management and H.P.B. Associates, and an associate at McKinsey & Company. He is a Member of the Board of Good Judgment, a leading forecasting services firm, and Senior Advisor to Emerson Point Capital. David served as Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee of Greenwich Academy. He graduated from Yale College with a B.A. in History summa cum laude, Harvard Business School with an MBA with distinction, and Harvard Law School with a J.D. magna cum laude.
