Michael Smith

Michael Smith is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Managing Director and Principal at CenterGate Capital since August 2017. Prior to this role, Michael held multiple positions at Five Points Capital from 2011 to 2017, progressing from Associate to Senior Associate. Michael also worked as an Analyst at Lazard from 2010 to 2011 and gained early experience as a Family Office Intern at Franklin Street Partners in 2008. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
