Daniel L. Polla is an experienced genetic data analyst at CENTOGENE, specializing in the analysis of whole genome and exome sequencing data for hereditary diseases since July 2019. Previously, Daniel served as a research scientist in the R&D Cellular Models group, focusing on iPSC technology for disease modeling and drug screening. Daniel's academic journey includes a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics from Radboud University, where a research project on novel causative genes in intellectual disability was conducted. Earlier roles involved research projects during the Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Genomic Sciences and Biomedical Sciences, respectively, including the design of a diagnostic gene panel.
