Jerry Jim

Jerry Jim has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jerry is currently serving as the VP of Information Technology at Central 1 Credit Union since February 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Lecturer in the Computer Science Department at the University of British Columbia starting from September 2016. Jerry also has experience as a Consultant at TakMar Systems from August 2016 to March 2019. Jerry held various positions at HSBC, including Global Head DevOPS & Practices, Global Head Software Delivery Practices, CIO, Head of IT Operations Canada, Senior Director of Technical Services & Infrastructure, and Director of End User Systems from 1990 to 2016. Additionally, they worked part-time as a Consultant at Chimbros Enterprises from 1982 to 2002 and as the Manager of Computer Services at Comstat Research Corp from 1986 to 1990.

Jerry Jim attended the University of British Columbia from 1981 to 1986, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Computer Science.
