Simon Smith

Simon Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in retail and merchandising. Currently serving as the Head of Format Proposition & Delivery at Central Co-op since June 2020, Simon is responsible for designing and delivering all aspects of format while focusing on capital investment and community engagement. Previous roles include Head of Merchandising at NPD Travel Retail, where Simon brought market data to life in Travel Retail, and various senior management positions at Asda that focused on space management, category analytics, and project implementations. Simon's career began with administrative roles at Leeds City Council and Halifax, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from the University of Leeds.
