Ian Smith

Ian Smith has extensive work experience in the field of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and data management. Ian started their career at The Traffic Audit Bureau for Media Measurement, Inc. (now Geopath) in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Geo-Analyst. In December 2011, they took on the role of Geospatial Manager/Circulation Manager. Ian worked in this position until March 2016.

In 2016, Ian joined Central Hudson as an OMS (Outage Management System) Data Coordinator. Ian held this position until October 2017. From November 2017 to March 2022, they served as a System Coordinator in the Emergency Management/OMS department at Central Hudson. Ian then advanced to the position of Senior System Coordinator, where they worked until June 2023. Currently, they hold the role of Associate Director - GIS Data at Central Hudson, starting from June 2023.
