Brian Farris

Brian Farris has extensive experience in software development and web technology, currently serving as a Disk Jockey and Web Developer for Ready Set Radio since March 2021, and as a Senior Developer at CentralSquare Technologies since August 2001. As the Owner of SmevDev, LLC, founded in February 2015, Brian focuses on Android mobile development. Previous roles include Software Developer at Superion and Software Engineer at SunGard Public Sector, where responsibilities included maintenance and development of various software products. Additionally, Brian showcased musical talent as the lead singer for the Southern Rock Tribute Band Dixie Fire from June to November 2016. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Ethics, both obtained from North Carolina State University between 1996 and 2001.
