Meredith Hall has been working in the field of program and service management since September 2009. Meredith started their career as the Director of Volunteer Programs at Centre Safe, responsible for recruiting, training, and managing approximately 55 volunteers. In addition, they handled database management and compiled statistical reports during their tenure. In October 2021, Meredith transitioned to the role of Director of Programs and Services at Centre Safe. Prior to this, they worked as a Public Safety Telecommunicator at Centre County 9-1-1, starting in November 2006.

Meredith Hall has pursued a Bachelor of Science degree, focusing on the fields of Geography, Crime, Law and Justice, as well as Sociology at Penn State University.

It is the mission of the Centre Safe to empower survivors of sexual or domestic violence, and to work toward the elimination of such violence through: •Crisis Intervention - providing safety and shelter to women who are in crisis because of domestic or sexual violence •Services - including a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, counseling and support groups, transitional housing, and referrals to other appropriate community programs •Education - for survivors, service providers, and the wider community with regard to the individual and societal dynamics of domestic and sexual violence •Advocacy - accompanying and supporting women and their children as they access the resources available to survivors of domestic and sexual violence; working collaboratively to improve community-wide systems and resources for survivors
