Trey Markel

Trey Markel is the CEO of Centrex Software, an enterprise core operating software platform dedicated to the finance and fintech sector. Trey has spent his entire career in fintech, consulting finance and fintech companies on the best ways to implement and operate enterprise technology. Trey was awarded the very first government contract by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) SmartWay Program that allowed for owner operators and fleet owners to be connected with lenders using fintech solutions.

Trey has also consulted on fintech with large scale credit departments for companies like Pioneer Electronics and Heritage Propane which was later acquired by AmeriGas. Throughout the year, Trey speaks at several different conferences on fintech and payment systems and how they can be effectively integrated into finance organizations. Trey has a bachelor of science degree in business marketing from University of the Pacific Eberhardt School of Business.
