Edwin Burden

Edwin Burden has extensive experience in the energy sector, notably in roles at Centrica Energy from January 2016 to April 2025, where responsibilities included oversight of global physical gas trading as Director of Asset Management & Origination, and previous positions managing physical gas trading portfolios. Prior to Centrica, Edwin worked as Freight Chartering & Physical Coal Sales Manager at Foresight Energy, where oversight of U.S. coal export shipping was key, and as Vice President at J.P. Morgan, focusing on dry freight chartering. Additional experiences include coal and dry freight analysis with RBS Sempra Commodities. Edwin holds an MPhys in Physics from The University of Manchester and is an MBA candidate from Cass Business School.
